The BURG Maxivo.Code is an electronic keypad lock for lockers and cabinets for indoor use – particularly suitable for semi-public areas with many changing users, such as hotels, schools, universities, leisure facilities, and staff changing rooms.

- Multiuser and private mode, so you remain flexible with changing user groups (e.g. guests, visitors, pupils/students) or fixed user rights (e.g. staff locker).
- Ideal for frequent user changes, ensuring the keypad lock operates smoothly in the daily routine of changing rooms, sports and leisure areas, as well as hospitality environments.
- Robust design (zamak housing) and stainless steel buttons, making the electronic keypad lock suitable for daily, intensive use in high-traffic areas.
- 4- or 6-digit code length, allowing you to adjust the security level and user convenience to suit the application.
- High code capacity (up to 999,999 combinations), ensuring the keypad lock remains scalable for locker solutions with many users.
- LED status/locking indicator, enabling users to quickly identify the lock status and receive reliable confirmation of their entries.
- For wooden & metal doors (indoor) with adjustable latch, allowing flexible installation on typical locker and cabinet doors (max. door thickness 19 mm, latch rotatable in 90° increments).

FAQ
For which applications is the lock particularly suitable?
For semi-public indoor areas with many changing users – e.g. hotel and guest areas, schools/universities, sports and leisure facilities, as well as staff changing rooms.
What is the difference between multiuser and private mode?
In multiuser mode, codes are valid for a single locking operation and are deleted upon reopening; in private mode, stored codes are used and non-stored codes are rejected.
Which code lengths are possible?
The lock can be set to 4- or 6-digit codes.
Which doors/lockers are compatible?
Suitable for wooden and metal doors in indoor areas; the maximum door thickness is 19 mm.
Is there anything to consider regarding the battery?
The lock is factory-approved for VARTA (CR123A) batteries; other brands may cause functional issues. When using the RTC functions, settings may be lost if the batteries are removed.

Declaration of Conformity
This product complies with the applicable EU safety requirements.
Special instructions for safe use
- Intended for indoor use only on metal or wooden lockers and cabinets (dry environment).
- Install only in the designated mounting hole (installation hole 16 x 19 mm) and secure firmly with the M19 nut.
- Observe the maximum door thickness: up to 19 mm.
- Mount the latch only in the designated 90° positions (left/right) and adjust it so that the door closes without jamming.
- After three incorrect entries, the lock switches to lockout mode (approx. 45 seconds) and cannot be operated temporarily.
- Use only approved batteries: 1x CR123A (factory-approved for VARTA CR123A). Other brands may cause functional issues.
- Do not short-circuit, heat, open, or mix batteries (new/used). If a battery leaks, discontinue use and clean the battery compartment.
- Select and manage codes in a way that prevents unauthorized access (e.g. do not write the code on the locker, change the code regularly).
Maintenance and service life
- Check the lock regularly for secure fit, smooth latch movement, and visible damage.
- Clean the housing and keypad with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents.
- Check the battery level regularly and replace the battery in good time to avoid malfunctions.
- Do not continue to use the product in the event of malfunction, unusual behavior, or damage.
Disposal information
Dispose of electronic components and batteries properly at appropriate collection and return points. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste.

Intended for adult users. Children may only operate the lock under supervision.
