Assembly and OperationThe assembly of the container lock is straightforward. The cylinder lock is simply inserted into the appropriate opening. Central lock X24 (Roller container lock, drawer lock, desk lock)This central lock can be installed in various roller containers, office drawers and desks, triggering a mechanism so that several drawers within one unit can be locked with this cylinder.How is it mounted and used? The user only has to insert the BURG key type X into the cylinder core and turn the core around. All drawers within the unit can then be unlocked and opened independently of each other. The prerequisite for use in a roller container is a round 21mm mounting hole (see drawing in the picture gallery). When operated, the central locking cylinder triggers a mechanism that blocks all drawers within a container or unit and prevents unauthorized opening of the drawers. How is the central lock installed and used? For this central lock, an 18mm (without rosette) and a 21mm (with rosette) drilling dimension is required, see drawing in the picture gallery. Then you can push the cylinder through from the inside and use a wood screw on the flange, alternatively also a rivet, to fix it. The cylinder core can then be turned with the help of a BURG type X key and the blocks in the container can be released or activated.
