The BURG handle shell is a cam lock primarily used in metal cabinets in workshops, garages, production halls and archives. The cabinet lock is locked by means of a handle and can optionally be secured with a matching key. In addition to the cam, rods can be attached so that it can be used as a rod lock for steel cabinets. Recessed handle GSC for steel and double-door cabinets and lockers The rectangular recessed handle with a practical silver grip is ideal for securing metal lockers with single or double doors. It is perfectly suited for use in workshops, offices, schools, universities, department stores, changing rooms, and many other environments. Installation and operation The recessed handle is installed without tools using side clips located on the back of the lock. A short installation video can be found at the bottom of this page. By turning the handle, the door front is locked via a bolt. Once the cylinder is locked, the handle is blocked and the lock secured. After unlocking, the handle can be turned 90° to open the door again. Recessed handle GST for steel and metal lockers (shell handle, recessed grip, flush handle, cup handle) The recessed handle locking system set with an oval plastic handle is particularly suitable as a locking solution for, for example, double-door cabinets or metal lockers in changing rooms, workshops, warehouses, production facilities, or sports complexes. Installation and operation The lock can be installed without tools and is designed for easy assembly. To mount it, the handle is inserted into the prepared cut-out and secured from the inside using the integrated clips. At the end of this page, you will find a short video demonstrating the installation. The lock operates by inserting a type X key, which locks or unlocks the handle’s rotation. Turning the handle engages the bolt and/or locking rods to secure the locker door. Product features The lock can be installed for both right-hand and left-hand operation. It allows for quick and simple installation and supports 1-, 2-, or 3-point locking using bolts and locking rods. The locking cylinder can be easily replaced and customized with specially made interchangeable cores. Even if the keys are lost, additional replacement keys can be produced at any time. In addition, a separate master key can be used to open an entire system. Use of accessories The set comes with 3 different bolts and can be extended with additional custom bolts from our shop following the BURG standard type B. With the mounting kit, old locking cylinders can be replaced and adapted to new applications. The lock comes with 2 type X keys as standard, but additional keys can also be produced. Fitting exchange cylinders
You have the BURG handle lock (old series: GSB, GSD, GSF, GSG) in use and would like several locking cylinders to be able to be locked with one key. No problem! With the interchangeable cylinders (W-WKG) for BURG handle locks of the GSP, GSC and GST series, you can turn your keyed different cabinet system into a keyed alike one. You order several keyed alike exchangeable cylinders.(NOT suitable for GSB, GSD, GSF and GSG handles).With the help of the mounting set (not included) you can remove the exchangeable cylinders of your current handle locks, provided that they are not locked. The new keyed alike cylinder core is inserted, the assembly key is pulled out. Done! Each exchangeable cylinder is delivered as a set with two matching keys (X-profile reversible key). Additional keys can be ordered later. This spare part allows you to lock any number of steel furniture with handle locksuniformly. With the repro exchangeable cylinder (W-WGR-01) for BURG handle locks of the GSP, GSC and GST series, you can have an exchangeable cylinder manufactured according to your locking system. Through the Repro ("Reproduction") option, new locking systems are handcrafted according to the desired locking. The new product can be used with the existing keys (X-profile). This makes it possible to renew or expand the system without having to issue new keys. Due to the manual production, the products of the RePro line have a slightly longer delivery time. With the help of the installation set (not included in the delivery content), the cylinders of your BURG lock can be removed, provided that they are not locked. The new cylinder core is inserted into the lock, the assembly key is pulled out. Done! Each exchange cylinder is supplied as a set with two matching keys (X-profile). Additional keys can be ordered later. Important: Repro articles are excluded from exchange, as they are manufactured individually for you. Type-B bolt with rod acceptance for BURG handle, lever, bolt, and furniture locksWith this latch, various locks with the catch receptacle for the BURG Latch Type B can also be retrofitted to a two-point locking system using rods.InstallationThe latch, along with the tension spring, is placed onto the suitable catch receptacle on the lock and secured with a nut or screw. The three-part Mounting set for consists of a disassembly key, an assembly aid and a release needle. The disassembly key is used to remove the locking cylinder. The assembly aid is used to change the locking direction (right/left). You can use the release needle to remove your knob.
