Furniture rotary knob TREND for BURG espagnolette, screw-on, glass swing door and furniture cam locks (cylinder rotary knob, rotary knob)
The cylinder rotary knob is an accessory part for the BURG furniture lock program. It is possible to give the knob a locking function through a furniture lock core and at the same time improve the feel of the lock during use. The knob often gets its use in offices, schools and workshops.
Installation and operation
To install the knob, simply press it into the corresponding furniture lock. If a cylinder core is already installed in the furniture lock, it must first be pulled out of the installation set using an installation key. The knob can be removed from the assembly set at any time using the release needle. As soon as the knob is mounted and the furniture lock exchange cylinder is mounted in the knob, it can be operated.
Product features
Different installation situations can be mapped with the TREND cylinder knob, since keyed different, keyed alike or reproduced furniture lock change cores can be installed. In addition, the knob supports a maximum door or material thickness of 28mm, so that even solid wooden doors can be upgraded with a TREND knob, it is not relevant whether the door is hinged on the left or right.
Accessories that can be used
Firstly, there are various furniture lock change cylinders, which are necessary for the full use of the knob. These are not included in the delivery, but can be ordered separately. Cylinder cores
can be bought in keyed different, keyed alike or reproduced versions for furniture locks, which then fit different installation situations. The assembly set is necessary for the insertion, removal and replacement of exchangeable cores. With the release needle, which is also included in the set, the knob can be easily removed from the furniture lock. Replace your existing cylinders with new differently locking exchange cylinders, suitable for all BURG products with exchange core cylinders, such as furniture cam locks, screw-on locks, espagnolette locks, push bar locks, glass wing door locks, sliding door locks, central locks, roller blind locks and knobs. With the help of the assembly set (not included in the scope of delivery), the cylinders of your BURG furniture lock can be removed, provided that they are not locked. You are looking for an exchangeable cylinder for your BURG furniture lock that fits your existing system, suitable for the current product series with exchangeable core cylinder, such as furniture cam locks, screw-on locks, espagnolette locks, push bar locks, glass wing door locks, sliding door locks, central locks, roller blind locks and knobs. Through the Repro ("Reproduction") option, new locking systems are handcrafted according to the desired locking. The new product can be used with the existing keys (X-profile). This makes it possible to renew or expand the system without having to issue new keys. Due to the manual production, the products of the RePro line have a slightly longer delivery time. With the help of the assembly set (not included in the scope of delivery), the cylinders of your BURG furniture lock can be removed, provided that they are not locked. The new cylinder core is inserted into the furniture lock and the assembly key is pulled out. Done! Each exchangeable cylinder is supplied as a set with two matching keys (X-profile).
