Central locking

Office furniture such as mobile pedestals, office pedestals, filing cabinets and filing cabinets usually have drawers filled with office materials and files. If several of these drawers are opened at the same time, the furniture can tip over, which can lead to a serious accident. To prevent this, it is necessary to ensure that several drawers cannot be opened in parallel. This is where the central locking system is used, which locks several drawers "centrally" via a lock and prevents the multiple opening of drawers via the central locking bars. The central lock is usually located in the top drawer or in a panel. Central locking systems can be retrofitted with retrofit sets. Retrofit sets are available for the common drawer systems from Hettich and Fulterer ("Pegasus"), which allow the central locking system to be replaced easily and inexpensively, e.g. if keys have been lost or broken off.
