Read-Only
Read-Only refers to the simple reading of an RFID medium (card, wristband or chip) without writing on it. RFID locking systems with read-only function are therefore technically less complex and therefore cheaper to procure. Read-only has the disadvantage that it is theoretically possible for several compartments to be locked with the same medium. The locking systems cannot store the information "already in use" on the medium.
