Stand-Alone

The term stand-alone is used to describe locking systems that can fulfil their function independently, without any additional devices. Stand-alone locking systems are autonomous and usually battery-operated. An external power supply or data connection is not necessary here. Stand-alone locking systems are particularly suitable for mobile locking solutions, such as roller containers in shared offices or for changing rooms, without power and network connection. Code keypads are used, but also RFID technologies with 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz.
