TBT window handle
TBT window handles prevent unintentional opening of the windows, e.g. by children. At the same time, however, they enable ventilation (tilt function). TBT stands for the unlocking function "Tilt Before Turn" for windows.
In addition to the usual window handles with turn/tilt function, there is also the so-called TBT unlocking function. The first 90° turn (horizontal handle position) leads to tilting, the second 90° turn (vertical handle position) leads to complete opening of the window (turning position). With lockable TBT handles, the handle must be unlocked via the locking cylinder to open the window (turning position).
