Trough lever handle

A recessed lever handle is a handle with latch function for steel furniture that is visually recessed into the front and is characterised by a flat design with high mechanical functionality. At only five millimetres, the recessed lever handle has an extremely flat construction height compared to conventional solutions, despite the premium functions on the back. It was developed for production and office furnishings. With its restrained design, it corresponds to a sustainable look. A special feature is the closing and opening mechanism on the back of the locking system by means of a 3-point latch. The special latch function only ensures automatic locking of the lock as soon as the door is pushed shut.

Turning the key on the front at a 90 degree angle to the left or right unlocks the system and the handle is released for operation. The user is then able to pull the handle in his direction. As he does so, the linkage retracts and the latch is withdrawn. A locking part holds both parts in the open position. After actuation, the handle automatically returns to its original position so that it does not protrude. When the door is pushed back again, the linkage and the bolt fall back into the locking position due to contact with the sensing pin, so that the lock automatically locks the door.
